After having a career in Education for several years, I left to raise my three children and be a full time mom. Making a career out of volunteering for school and community projects and events I knew one day I'd want something to call my own.
When shopping for my kids, I'd go to the high-end boutiques and better department stores looking for good quality children's clothes. I'd go directly to the sale rack and be amazed that even on sale the clothes were so expensive and most often the customer service was poor. I always thought that it would be nice to find a children's boutique that could have excellent customer service where they really knew the clothes they sold, how the sizes ran and treated the customer who bought one outfit the same as the customer who came in all the time and bought many items. And the icing on the cake would be that the clothes would be affordable!
Boutique Children's Clothes - Online or Brick & Mortar?
The obvious reason to be online is to reach more people and internet shopping is becoming so widespread.
However, being a mom, the decision was easy. I wanted the flexibility of working when my kids were at school and still be able to volunteer in their classrooms. Another reason for choosing an online store is because I always hear about high end boutiques closing their doors. They have to sell at such high prices just to pay the rent. These stores are failing. They are failing to hear their customers' need for high quality without the high prices.
What's In A Name?
All children should grow with love but how did I come up with the name? For weeks I had racked my brain trying to come up with cute names, cute spellings but nothing seems to fit. One night, my daughter could not sleep and I sat on the edge of her bed waiting for her to close her eyes. I looked up at a poster she had on her wall with flowers on it. It read: "Grow With Love". It hit me! I just knew that was the name and so from that night on, my Boutique was called Grow With Love Boutique!
I'm a mom like you. I want to buy good quality and stylish children's boutique clothes at affordable prices from a store I trust. You can trust that I believe in my products that I carefully hand pick. I look over every item as if I were buying it for my own kids.
